Frequently asked questions

Is an electronic signature legally binding in New Zealand?

Yes. Electronic signatures are given legal effect under New Zealand's Electronic Transactions Act 2002, provided both parties consent to sign electronically — which Hubnexa Sign captures as part of the signing process.

What file types can I upload?

Currently, documents must be uploaded as PDF files.

How many people can sign one document?

You can add multiple signers to a single document.

Do signers need a Hubnexa Sign account?

No. Signers receive a secure email link and can review and sign the document without creating an account.

Is my data secure?

Documents are stored privately and are never publicly accessible. See our Trust & Security page for details.

What happens once everyone has signed?

The document is marked complete, and every signer's action is recorded in the audit trail attached to that document.
